Historic German Village Front Terrace

This beauty sat atop a dull, grassy slope until this elegant and simple brick wall gave it a fitting visual foundation, level front yard, and welcoming entry.

The limestone stone cheek walls that flank the front sidewalk gate, the front porch steps, and the side porch steps, are custom designed by Jacobs Grant Design ltd, to echo other historical features in the neighborhood.

The row of dogwood trees softens views to the neighbor’s porch but also allows views to their yard.

A classic stone walkway welcomes visitors. The iron gate and pilasters are also custom designed, with style input from the owner.

The simplicity of vinca ground cover is teamed only with boxwood, seasonal planter pots, and the existing Japanese maple tree in this front yard landscape.

Planter pots seasonally filled by Postabilities.
