New Landscape for a Grand Old Home

For years this lovely Upper Arlington home sat in an expanse of mostly lawn, with only fragments of what may have once been a beautiful landscape - One could only guess. Now, once again it has a 'proper' setting.

Layered hedges and plantings have replaced the previously-sloped lawn at the house front, which offered no privacy or interest.

On what was once just lawn, a path along the front of the house connects the patio areas on each end of the home, and adds interest and surprise to visitors at the front door.

Little stepping stone paths and stairways bring surprise on walks through the garden.

A Screened porch at one end of the house once felt like the least private space in the house, due to the house being at a street intersection, but not it is barely noticed although it has beautiful views out to the yard.
