Who We Are

Jacobs Grant Design ltd, a full-service award-winning sole-proprietor landscape architecture firm headed by Sue Jacobs Grant, specializing in custom residential design.

Sue grew up in Columbus and earned her degree in Landscape Architecture at The Ohio State University.  After working at several award-winning landscape architectural firms on the east and west coasts, she returned to her hometown in 2004, where she started her own practice.  Sue believes that residential design is the most rewarding of all the types of landscape architectural practice – because home is where we live and play and gain our strength for the rest of life.

With a career spanning over 30 years, Sue has extensive experience in custom residential gardens, site planning, parks, urban design, commercial developments, corporate campuses, and housing communities.
